A New Way to Help Mexican Wolves

<\/strong><\/font>One of the ongoing battles for Mexican
\nWolves is convincing the politicians and agencies that people
\nwant to see wolves, and convincing reluctant locals that wolf
\ntourism really can help the economy.
Now, there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s an
\neasy way to bring home this message.  The New
\nMexico Department of Game and Fish is offering an opportunity to
\ngo out with their wolf biologist,<\/strong> Ellen Heilhecker, as
\nshe monitors Mexican wolves in the Gila National
\nForest.   They will use a lottery system to decide who
\ngets to go \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the
\nopportunity!  We want them to be amazed when 1000
\npeople sign up for the chance.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n

Please help us reach this goal \u00e2\u20ac\u201c even if you
\ndon\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t plan to go looking for lobos.  And if you do
\nwin, the cost is $74. Just applying will cost you $6, but
\nbelieve me that 2-lattes-worth will send a great message about
\nwolves.  And if you do win, you will get to learn how
\nNMDG&F uses radio telemetry equipment, GPS units, and
\ndigital trail cameras in keeping track of approximately 15
\ncollared lobos currently in the wild in the state. <\/p>\n

\nthe page. The sign-up process is complicated, and it appears you
\ntake pot luck on dates, but this is a really cool deal. The
