However, the Journal is disingenuous \u00e2\u20ac\u201c and knee-jerk conservative \u00e2\u20ac\u201c to blame \u00e2\u20ac\u0153bureaucratic guidelines.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The fact is that the minority opponents of wolf restoration first used genetic purity as an argument against reintroduction, as the Journal surely recalls. These wolves were slaughtered to please wolf opponents, as every wolf death does, no matter how needless or cruel.<\/p>\n
